Several summers ago I fostered a pair of baby raccoons for a weekend until a qualified friend got back into town to take over for me. I adored them, and they nursed just like that squirrel. I got damn good at feed, potty, bathe, and reheat water bottles in 15 minutes.
Maybe someday when I'm old and retired I'll do wildlife rehab.
